An updated article on WW1 memorials

News

Two recent discoveries have enabled us to update our article on local WW1 memorials that include the names of one or more of the Farnhill WW1 Volunteers.

The first of these discoveries was the finding of the WW1 Roll of Honour commemorating men from  Woodrow’s Mill at Junction.

The second was the inclusion of a photograph of the Kildwick School memorial in a collection of items loaned to us by a former villager.  This is the only known photograph of this memorial, believed lost or destroyed
